Finally moved furniture into the Great Room!

Bridge (deck)

The bridge between the house and the garage is covered. It is a pleasant place for a cup of coffee and a good book. Also a good spot to look at the deer in the back meadow.

Timber Frame Hybrid Construction

Rear Elevation view. Deck is not complete across the rear elevation. House is completely timbered. Garage is conventional framing.

Front Elevation

Views of the front elevation of the house and garage. The lone pine tree is still living on the knoll. Excavation has begun for the landscaping.

Entry way

Two views of the entry. Top view shows the area open to the second level Double doors to the right in the second view are for the coat closet. This photo was taken from the dining room.

Back Door and Garage Door

Door with full length side lights leads into the garage. Door with half window leads into the mudroom of the house.

Dining room tiled and painted.

Kitchen Cabinets

Cabinets on left will hold a double oven. Microwave fits in area to the right of the ovens. Counter top includes eating space at bar to the right. Area to far right where Mark is walking is the great room.

Bathroom Tile

Green tile pattern in two of the bathrooms.

Basement rooms

Two bedrooms, a full bath and a large rec room in the basement walkout level.

Front elevation

Exterior has been painted and excavation of the driveway turnaround has started.

Exterior Paint

The exterior siding (Hardiboard) has been painted. Drywall installation is almost complete. Interior painting will begin this week. Tile is laid in the kitchen and cabinets will be hung this week.

Kitchen Cabinets

Cabinets have arrived on site. Electrical and mechanical inspections are completed. Dry wall installation started May 20th.

Roof Complete

A front elevation view of the roof completed.

Roof Shingles

First photo shows shingles being loaded onto the roof. Second one shows a section of the house complete.

Connection of House to Garage

The connection was challenging, but here it is completed.

Rear Elevation of House and Garage

Good view of basement walkout, main floor and second floors. House and garage will eventually be attached. Exterior siding is complete on this side of the house and will be painted.

Siding Prep and installation

Two views of the exterior siding. Note the shingle style at the top. Siding will be painted later.

Front Porch

Front porch will wrap around three sides of the front elevation.
